BAKELITE SLICES MOP CORKSCREW necklace. A very interesting vintage bakelite necklace in fabulous vintage condition. Necklace measures 26 inches in length and has a push in clasp. The slices of what I believe is bakelite (does not test positive with simichrome, but I sold similar necklaces in the past that tested with simichrome; as we know, sometimes bakelite is covered with a protective layer which will prevent the reaction with simichrome) measure on average 1 ¼ inches by 1 inch. Accents are corkscrew and mother of pearl disk beads. I love the necklace is linked together with metal links, it is very secure this way. Clasp signed Japan.
